SEAduced by Belize – Adventure Tours

The road to adventure starts with Seaduced

SEAduced by Belize is a locally owned family run business. Elito was born and raised in San Pedro and has been a tour guide for more than 20 years. His wife Rebecca is originally from New Mexico, but moved to Belize in 1993. Together they started SEAduced 15 years ago. Their aim is to provide each and every one of their guests with memorable adventures while they maintain the highest standards to protect the environment. Together they attend to every detail of their tours. Elito or one of their local licensed guides, Sylvin, Ricky, Manuel, Sylvin (yohoo) or Giovanni, will show the splendor of their country, share their knowledge of the history and provide entertainment when you join them on their adventures.

Rebecca runs their office in the Vilma Linda Plaza and prepares all of the food for the trips. She and Kim are always happy to answer your questions and help you plan all of your activities. Finally, they pride themselves in professional, knowledgeable and friendly service. Please feel free to contact them with any inquiries about their beautiful island, accommodations or any of their tours.

About Us

A Personal Message from Rebecca and Elito

SEAduced is not just a job or a business, but a life for us. Each and every one of our staff members is like family to us; we pride ourselves in our work together. We feel that it is important to maintain our high standards in providing quality and informative tours.

We also feel strongly about protecting our environment for future generations to appreciate and enjoy. Our hope and goal is that our children Dylan and Alyssa, the children of our staff and future generations will have the same respect and appreciation for their native Belize. Finally we hope that through our business practices, future generations of visitors will have the desire and opportunity to experience Belize.

Snorkel

Belize is often referred to as one of the Seven Underwater Wonders of the World. The world’s second largest barrier reef runs parallel to its coast, at distances ranging from a few hundred feet at the northern tip of Ambergris Caye, to nearly forty miles at the southern-most tip of the country.

However, the barrier reef is not the only factor that makes Belize one of the world’s most popular destinations for scuba divers and snorkelers. Many of the small islands, known as “cayes,” that lie off the coast of the Belizean mainland have their own coral reefs, with spectacular underwater gardens teeming with sea life of all types. The clear turquoise waters (which average 79-84 degrees) and the proximity of the barrier reef make Ambergris Caye a favorite destinations for divers and snorkelers.

Maya Ruins

An important part of Belize history are the Mayan ruins, a legacy of outstanding palaces and temples. The Mayan civilization began as early as 1500 B.C. and started to decline in 900 A.D., although some Maya cultural centers continued to be occupied until the arrival of the Spanish in the 15th century. Belize’s population was thought to be over 1 million people during the classic period (250 A.D. to 900 A.D.) when Belize became the heart of the Mayan civilization. To this day, there is still a significant Mayan population living in small villages throughout the country.

The Maya ruins of Belize include a number of well-known and historically important pre-Columbian Maya archaeological sites. Belize is considered part of the southern Maya lowlands of the Mesoamerican culture area, and the sites found there were occupied from the Preclassic until and after the arrival of the Spanish.

Seaduced has carved out a reputation in San Pedro for offering unique tours and great service. The Belize Tourism Board awarded them the prestigious Tour Operator of the Year award 2 years in a row! They offer snorkeling tours to Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley as a well as other great sites like Bacalar Chico and Mexico Rocks. One of the unique tours they offer is these snorkeling trips aboard a catamaran where you can sail and relax as well as snorkel. One of their most popular tours is the Day Sail to Caye Caulker, a quaint island just south of Ambergris Caye, that stops to snorkel at Hol Chan. Their jungle excursions are first class as well with day trips to explore Maya ruins such as Lamanai as well as cave tubing and zip lining trips. You can easily fill your entire vacation in San Pedro just with the tours that Seaduced by Belize offers!
